With great sadness we must report that Autocrat passed away in February 2013 from Pleuropneumonia (very unforeseen & very hard to detect).

He had been loving looked after by his trainer /rider where he had been for the last 2 years when he became ill.  By the time he showed symptoms (mild colic symptoms) and we took him to a top surgical veterinary hospital in Winnipeg, it was too late and he passed away in less than 48 hours despite the best possible care. The morning we took him to the vet, he had pranced out of the barn, called to the other horses and then ate his breakfast.

WE WILL MISS HIM GREATLY!

Autocrat's offspring are usually very versatile and are located all over North America and even into Mexico. Many have shown with great success in the hunter and dressage rings and are continuing to succeed at thier chosen disciplines.
