In March 2008, Autocrat went to his FIRST SHOW at the Los
Angeles Dressage Center in California with his rider Betty
Wells.
The Cornerstone Dressage show at the Los Angeles Dressage
Festival is one of the top venues for horses in the Western
US and Canada and is a showcase for some of Western North
America’s top dressage talent.
Auto & Betty had a very successful few days, placing
2nd in all his 3rd Level tests. In his first class of 13
horses he scored 64.615% and was 2nd only to Willy Arts
riding Valeska who was selected for the 2008 World Young
Horse Championships.

Quiet, kind temperament, willingness to please, handsome
good looks, versatile bloodlines and absolutely breathtaking
elastic movement is what Autocrat brings with him
to North America. With his amazingly free shoulder and his
outstanding supple fluid movement, he is sure to produce
some outstanding hunter and dressage mounts for the amateur
and professional rider.
He has a tremendous drive from behind and uses his back
and hindquarter very effectively. Auto
should prove an excellent cross with North American Thoroughbreds
to add elasticity and freedom to their movement while helping
to add rideablity to some of the hotter temperaments.
With warmblood mares his bloodlines have proven to be an
excellent cross with some of the popular dressage and jumping
bloodlines still adding the much sought after elasticity,
rideablity, and powerful hind quarter. Also for those Sport
Horse breeders looking for an out cross for their W, D,
and R line mares, Autocrats bloodlines should prove
to be of much interest.
For mare owners he comes as a welcome addition to the few
Approved Hanoverian stallions in Canada.
